Earlier this morning I went malling to help my mom do her groceries but antecedent to that we found ourselves browsing in the Digital Camera section of the Department store. She really wants to show me the 5,000php 12 mega-pixels cam of Olympus she caught sight last time she passed to to this portion of the mall. She is quite shocked with the low-price of it despite of having 12mgp & the brand "Olympus" (w/c is actually a great brand of camera as we all know) so right away I asked the saleslady to hand me the cam & have myself test it and had few photos taken to see the qualities of photos. Design-wise, it is looks like a typical digicamera, slim & handy ( here for image.) but performance-wise, I am not that impressed. Yes, I am not a pro photographer but seriously, you can really tell that it has an "ok" quality of pictures. I expect more to it because it is already 12 mega-pixels. So the camera isn't that impressive as its price.


As we continued to browsed, I spotted  this camera  ---



Its GE x5 digital camera. Yes, its not DSLR which made me quite sad because it can't take RAW images which I really would prefer in camera. hoho but anyways, Its a semi-pro camera so I think this would be nice start for someone who would like to pursue photography. like ME! I am not attracted to it at first glance and despite of its brand which is actually not known for cameras. ( I got an eyed for LABELS & BRANDS, sorry XD ) but as I manipulate it & had a few photos taken I was quite impressed with the quality of picture (14 mgp) with the 15x zoom plus its size & weight which is actually kind of small & convenient to bring and its price! totally cheap. So I am hoping I could own one someday. teehee *o*
